 Step 1 > TELL US ABOUT YOUR EVENT

Start with the basics: what you're celebrating, when and where it's happening, and approximately how many people you're expecting.


Step 2 > WE TALK THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE

We'll discuss the music, venue, important moments, announcements, audience, schedule, and the atmosphere you're trying to create.



Step 3 > WE PLAN THE DETAILS

As the event approaches, we'll confirm the information needed to support the event. For weddings and structured events, this may include coordinating timelines, introductions, special dances, announcements, and other important moments.


Step 4 > WE SHOW UP READY

We'll arrive with the agreed equipment, set up, test the system, and prepare before the event begins.



Step 5 > WE READ THE ROOM

We'll work from the plan while reading the room, adjusting the music and energy as appropriate for the people attending your event.

  • WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU DJ?

    P2G primarily provides DJ and Emcee services for weddings and receptions, private and company celebrations, school events, community gatherings, and similar occasions. If you're unsure whether your event fits, tell us what you're planning, and we’ll let you know if we’re a good fit.


  • DO YOU DJ CLUBS, RAVES, FESTIVALS, OR LARGE CONCERTS?

    Those types of events are not our primary focus, however we can and have served local festivals, farmers markets, etc. Our service is primarily designed around celebrations and community-oriented events rather than nightclubs, raves, or large concert environments.


  • CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN MUSIC?

    Absolutely. Your preferences help shape the event. We'll discuss the music you enjoy, important songs, and must-play selections. Some music may be omitted at the DJ’s discretion depending on the audience and venue. For example, our DJ’s do their best to minimize songs with expletives or violent lyrical content, especially around attendees who are minors or around schools, churches or other sensitive areas within the community.  


  • DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS DURING THE EVENT?

    Requests will be considered, but they should fit within the client's preferences, event, audience, and agreed approach. Requests are treated as secondary to planned arrangements and are played at the DJ’s discretion. The person who hired us ultimately sets the direction for how our DJ’s approach music selections.


  • DO YOU PROVIDE SOUND EQUIPMENT?

    For standard DJ engagements, P2G provides their own equipment needed for the service. Venue size, layout, electrical availability, audience size, and other conditions are evaluated when planning the event. In some cases, we may use a venue supplied sound equipment if evaluated by P2G beforehand and the equipment meets or exceeds our quality standards.


  • CAN YOU PROVIDE MUSIC FOR A WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

    Potentially, yes. Ceremony and reception needs can be discussed during planning. Separate locations, additional equipment, microphones, setup requirements, and timing may affect the scope and pricing.

  • WILL YOU MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS?

    Yes, when Emcee support is part of the event, we'll coordinate important announcements, introductions, activities, and scheduled moments with you beforehand when practical.


  • CAN YOU PROVIDE SOUND FOR A LIVE BAND?

    While we can and we have, our services are not intended to provide live-band production or concert sound reinforcement. This type of service is treated as a one-off and requires more planning, different equipment and a different pricing model than what is typically used for standard DJ and Emcee Services.
