Sometimes you just have projects around the house that need to get done and you’re not looking for a contractor to do a major renovation. Maybe something needs to be assembled, installed, adjusted, maintained, cleaned up, or just simply figured out. That's where P2G Home Projects comes in. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish. We'll take a look at your to-do list, determine whether it's something we can safely and effectively handle, and help identify the next steps. If it's within our capabilities, we'll provide a practical solution. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too.

PROJECT REQUEST INFORMATION

The project request should collect:

  • Customer name
  • Property address
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Brief project title
  • Description of what the customer wants accomplished
  • Approximate size or quantity, when known
  • Indoor or outdoor
  • Desired timeframe
  • Known access considerations
  • Materials already purchased, if applicable
  • Additional comments
  • Photo Upload: Allow multiple photographs to be uploaded with the request.

PRICING

Home Projects are estimated individually based on labor, materials, equipment, travel, complexity, and project requirements. Every project is a little different. Tell us what you need and we'll evaluate the work before providing pricing or recommending the next step.

START WITH THE PROBLEM. WE'LL WORK IT FROM THERE.

 Step 1 > TELL US WHAT YOU NEED

Describe the project, problem, or outcome you're trying to accomplish. You don't need to know exactly what the solution is. That's part of what we're here to help figure out.



Step 2 > SEND US SOME PHOTOS

Upload photos of the project area, existing conditions, equipment, materials, or anything else that helps us understand the request.



Step 3 > WE EVALUATE THE PROJECT

We'll review the requested work and determine whether it fits P2G's capabilities, equipment, safety requirements, and available services. Some projects may require an on-site evaluation before pricing can be provided.



Step 4 > WE BUILD THE SCOPE

If the project is a good fit, we'll define what we're proposing to do, identify known materials or equipment requirements, and provide an estimate for approval.


Step 5 > WE GET TO WORK

Once the scope, pricing, and schedule are agreed upon, we'll complete the approved project and communicate with you if something unexpected is discovered along the way.

  • WHAT TYPES OF HOME PROJECTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

    It varies. P2G Home Projects is designed for smaller practical needs that don't fit neatly into one of our other established services. The best way to find out is to describe what you need and send us a few photos. We'll review the request and determine whether it's something P2G can safely and effectively handle.


  • WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

    That's okay. Tell us about the problem or what you're trying to accomplish. You don't need to diagnose the problem or design the solution before contacting us.


  • ARE YOU A GENERAL CONTRACTOR?

    No. P2G Home Projects is not intended to replace licensed contractors or specialty trades. Projects requiring permits, specialized licensing, or work outside P2G's capabilities will be subcontracted to a licensed contractor or will not be performed under this service.


  • DO YOU PERFORM ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, HVAC, OR OTHER LICENSED-TRADE WORK?

    P2G does not perform work requiring a professional or contractor license that P2G does not hold. If your project requires a licensed specialty trade, we'll let you know.


  • CAN I PROVIDE THE MATERIALS?

    Yes, depending on the project. If you've already purchased materials or equipment, tell us when submitting the request and include photos or product information as it can be helpful to know what we have to work with. P2G may also source materials when agreed upon as part of the project scope.


  • DO YOU CHARGE FOR PROJECT EVALUATIONS?

    Some projects can be evaluated and quoted from the information and photographs provided. Others may require an on-site evaluation. For customers outside of Bakersfield and the surrounding community, a travel fee may apply to cover fuel and time evaluating a particular project. If any other fees apply, that will be communicated to the customer before an on-site visit is scheduled.


  • WHAT IF YOU START THE PROJECT AND FIND SOMETHING UNEXPECTED?

    If conditions are discovered that materially change the agreed scope, we'll stop and discuss the issue with you before performing additional work or incurring any additional significant costs.


  • CAN YOU HELP WITH SOMETHING THAT ISN'T LISTED ON THIS PAGE?

    Absolutely! That's exactly why this page exists. Tell about your need and if P2G can safely and reasonably handle it, we'll discuss the options. If the project falls outside our capabilities, we'll let you know rather than wasting your time or taking on work we shouldn't.
