P2G's Compliance as a Service (CaaS) solution automates much of that process for eligible OBD-equipped vehicles. A connected device remains within the vehicle, allowing required testing to be completed remotely when testing requirements and vehicle conditions are met.

CaaS combines connected vehicle technology with P2G compliance support to provide an ongoing Clean Truck Check testing solution.

CONNECTED DEVICE

Each enrolled vehicle receives a configured connected device that interfaces with the vehicle's OBD system.


REMOTE TESTING

Eligible testing can be completed remotely without scheduling a P2G technician to physically visit the vehicle for every required test.

DEADLINE MONITORING

P2G monitors enrolled vehicles and upcoming testing requirements to help keep required testing on track.


CARB SUBMISSION

Completed test data is submitted electronically to CARB and reflected in CTC-VIS.


ONGOING P2G SUPPORT

 CaaS is more than purchasing a device. P2G provides ongoing support for enrolled vehicles as part of the compliance service.

How It Works

FROM CONNECTION TO COMPLIANCE

 Step 1 > CONTACT P2G

We'll discuss your fleet, vehicle eligibility, and whether CaaS is an appropriate solution.



Step 2 > CONNECT

A configured connected device is provided for each enrolled vehicle and connected to the vehicle's OBD system.



Step 3 > OPERATE NORMALLY

The device remains within the vehicle while it continues normal operation and communicates through its cellular connection.



Step 4 > TEST

When the vehicle enters its scheduled testing window and required testing parameters are met, the Clean Truck Check test can be completed remotely.



Step 5 > SUBMIT & VERIFY

Test data is transmitted to CARB and reflected in CTC-VIS, allowing the testing process to be managed without scheduling an on-site technician for every compliance deadline.

  • DOES CaaS WORK WITH EVERY VEHICLE?

    No. CaaS requires an eligible OBD-equipped vehicle and compatible connected-device configuration. P2G will help evaluate your fleet before enrollment.

  • DOES A TECHNICIAN STILL HAVE TO VISIT FOR EVERY TEST?

    For eligible enrolled vehicles, CaaS allows required testing to be completed remotely when applicable testing conditions are satisfied. No technician necessary!


  • DOES THE DEVICE STAY IN THE VEHICLE?

    Yes. The connected device remains with the enrolled vehicle so it can communicate and transmit vehicle information when needed to support the testing process.


  • WHAT IF I HAVE VEHICLES IN MULTIPLE STATES?

    CaaS can support eligible fleet vehicles throughout the United States and Canada, making it particularly useful for fleets operating across multiple state lines.
