No. We specialize exclusively in commercial and heavy-duty fleet diesel and alternative fuel vehicles that are "In-Scope" for the Clean Truck Check program. We do not service passenger vehicles.

An official OBD test is when a scan is submitted to CARB. CARB issues a pass/fail result based on the scan data submitted, then the results are uploaded to the clients CTC-VIS portal as an official compliance record.

An OBD pre-test is localized testing using software that mimics the CARB system. This is purely a diagnostic scan used for internal troubleshooting and confirmation before an official test. Often times when clients suspect a mechanical problem impacting the emissions system on a vehicle, or after mechanical work has been performed, they will use a pre-test to verify problem codes are cleared before submitting an official OBD test. Proactively speaking, a failed test starts a timer in which repairs must be completed by a certain timeframe to remain compliant. A pre-test can help identify problems early allowing more time for repairs to be completed before a failure triggers CARB deadlines.

Absolutely. We currently travel anywhere throughout Bakersfield and surrounding areas within Kern County, even beyond when the economics make sense for the client.

For clients opting for automation using our Compliance as a Service (CaaS) option, our connected-device technology allows us to support fleets anywhere in the United States and Canada. We simply program and configure the hardware, ship it to the client, and the client simply plugs the device into the vehicles OBD port using a direct connect or pass-through cable. From there, we can manage everything remotely.
